- Prepare, review, and manage corporate legal documents, including cooperation agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, Memorandums of Understanding (MoU), powers of attorney, statements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal reviews and provide legal advice related to the company’s operations and mining projects.
- Assist in obtaining and maintaining corporate licenses, mining operational permits, environmental permits, and other supporting permits in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Ensure the company’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to mining, environmental protection, employment, and corporate governance.
- Conduct legal due diligence, legal research, and prepare legal opinions to support management decision-making processes.
- Support Government Relations activities by maintaining effective communication and relationships with government authorities, local communities, and other stakeholders involved in mining projects.
- Manage the company’s legal documentation and filing system to ensure completeness, validity, and accessibility of legal records.
- Monitor the validity and expiration dates of permits, contracts, and legal documents, and ensure timely renewals and compliance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Legal position, preferably within the mining industry or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, mining law, licensing and permitting, environmental law, labor law, and regulations related to the mining sector.
- Proficient in legal drafting, contract review, legal opinion preparation, and legal research.
- Familiar with licensing and permitting processes through the OSS system, as well as coordination with ministries, local governments, and other relevant authorities.
- Knowledgeable in mining-related permits and regulations, including Mining Business Licenses (IUP), Work Plan and Budget (RKAB), Environmental Approvals, Forest Area Borrow-and-Use Permits (PPKH), and other operational permits.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Willing to travel to project sites and government institutions as required.
