Deskripsi Pekerjaan

  1. Advising senior management and operational teams on legal matters, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance issues affecting the organisation
  2. Managing the legal department, including supervision of legal staff and coordination of external legal resources and counsel
  3. Developing, implementing, and maintaining company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and mitigate organisational risk
  4. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, contracts, and legal documents relevant to the company’s operations
  5. Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly those governing credit rating agencies and financial services
  6. Managing litigation matters, disputes, and regulatory investigations, working with external counsel as needed
  7. Conducting legal risk assessments and providing recommendations to minimise exposure
  8. Maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies and managing regulatory filings and submissions
  9. Supporting the company’s business development initiatives through legal due diligence and contract support
  10. Staying current with changes in legislation and regulations that impact the organisation’s operations

Kualifikasi

  1. A law degree from a recognised university and admission to practice law in Indonesia
  2. Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law, preferably including in-house legal experience
  3. Strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate law, commercial law, financial services regulation, and data protection requirements
  4. Proven experience in managing legal teams and developing legal strategies for organisations
  5. Demonstrated expertise in contract management, negotiation, and drafting
  6. Experience in regulatory compliance and working with Indonesian regulatory authorities
  7. Strong understanding of risk management and corporate governance principles
  8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound judgment and discretion
  10. Professional demeanour and the ability to work effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams
  11. Preferred: experience in the financial services, credit rating, or investment sector
