Deskripsi Pekerjaan

  1. Handle and monitor litigation and non-litigation legal matters related to plantation operations.
  2. Represent the company in legal proceedings, including civil, criminal, industrial relations, and administrative cases.
  3. Coordinate with external legal counsels, law enforcement agencies, government institutions, and related stakeholders regarding ongoing legal disputes.
  4. Handle and manage land disputes, community conflicts, operational disturbances, and plantation-related legal issues.
  5. Prepare, review, and analyze legal documents such as legal opinions, warning letters (somasi), responses, powers of attorney, agreements, and litigation documents.
  6. Provide legal advice and strategic recommendations to management regarding dispute resolution and legal risk mitigation.
  7. Support investigation processes and coordinate legal handling related to fraud, theft, encroachment, and operational security matters.
  8. Monitor legal compliance and ensure company actions align with applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Conduct legal research and case analysis to support litigation strategy and company interests.
  10. Assist in mediation, negotiation, and settlement discussions with external parties, communities, employees, and government institutions.
  11. Prepare regular litigation reports and updates for management.
  12. Supervise and guide junior legal staff in handling litigation matters.

Kualifikasi

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
  2. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Litigation, Industrial Relations, or Corporate Legal, preferably in palm oil plantation companies.
  3. Strong experience in handling civil, criminal, land dispute, and industrial relations cases.
  4. Familiar with plantation operational legal issues, including land conflicts, community disputes, operational disturbances, and regulatory compliance.
  5. Strong understanding of Indonesian legal procedures, litigation processes, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
  6. Experience coordinating with police, prosecutors, courts, local governments, and external legal counsels.
  7. Ability to draft legal opinions, litigation documents, agreements, and formal legal correspondence.
  8. Advocate license (PERADI) is preferred.
  9. Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  10. Able to work under pressure and handle sensitive legal matters professionally.
  11. Willing to travel to plantation sites and operational areas if required.
